Karam is not open yet

There is nothing to sign, nothing to send, and no waiting list. No elder has joined yet. The legal papers are still with the lawyers and not yet approved, and the team of carers and professionals does not exist yet. We will not take your details for a conversation we cannot have yet. Care for an elder

Whether it is for you or for a parent, Karam is meant to explain everything and answer every question before anything is decided. The elder stays in the home. The elder never pays anything, and the cost of care is never set by what the home is worth.

The elder decides, with no rush. Before anything can be signed, Karam will require his own independent lawyer, a waiting time so he can change his mind, and a check that he fully understands what he is signing. None of the three exists yet — that is why no one can join today.

Buy a home and care for an elder

You would buy an elder's home and pay its full value over time, with no interest, into an account in the elder's own name. You may also be the one who lives with the elder and looks after him — or that can be a different carer.

No interest, ever. The payments go into the elder's own protected account, never to anyone else. qardon.org keeps a record of the agreement. The lawyers have not approved any part of this kind of sale yet, no home has been sold this way, and no sale can be started today.

Become a carer

Living with an elder or caring for one is a noble and honoured job, and Karam plans to treat it that way. Karam plans to train carers, check their background, plan their hours and pay them. Every person who enters an elder's home would be checked before being sent.

None of that exists yet. There is no carer programme running, no rules yet for checking carers, and no way to join — so there is nothing to apply for today.

Serve as a professional

For people who give care, home services, activities or legal help, and want to serve elders with dignity. Karam plans to sign them up, check them, plan their hours and pay them — from the fund, not from the elder. No fee of any kind ever reaches the elder.

None of that exists yet. There is no sign-up, no schedule and no way to join for any job — so there is nothing to sign up for today.
