Everyone lends. Anyone can borrow. Qardon is a community of people who lend and people who borrow. Every member lends, with no interest. Your money stays yours, in your own account, and goes round to help the next family. Anyone — member or not — can ask for an interest-free loan when they need one. There is no group that only lends, and no group that only borrows. You lend. You may borrow. Your money stays in your own bank, in your own name. People lending to each other keep the community going. Many lend this as a goodly loan to God — for them, it is worship. The community is open to people of every faith, and of no faith.

A one-time interest-free loan to Allah. It stays in your own account and goes round to help others. You can lend again any time from your dashboard. No monthly fee. Nothing is charged again unless you set it up yourself. For many people, lending this way is worship.

I lend Allah a goodly loan. My money stays in my own account and goes round as interest-free loans to help others. I understand that I may ask for an interest-free loan when I need one. (In Islamic terms, this is a goodly loan, or waqf.) I agree to the Terms of Service and the Waqf Lender Agreement.

How the site stays free. qardon.org is free for you. Lenders, borrowers, buyers, sellers and dealers pay the site nothing. To keep it running, its real running costs, multiplied by a set number that adds a profit, are paid from the profit of the waqfs placed through it. This is never taken from the waqf money itself, never added to any price, and never a percentage of a sale. It is a condition for using the site, not a choice. By opening an account you accept it; without accepting it, no account can be opened. If you place a waqf, this condition becomes one of your waqf’s conditions. The site does not manage anyone’s waqf. It is a tool in the hands of the person who manages it — or in your own hands, if you manage it yourself. Fotoh is not a charity, and it takes no part in your deals or in the profit of your business. Permanent. You place it for Allah, to keep helping others for as long as it lasts. It is meant never to be taken back — yet the platform never holds you to it: should you ever need it, it is returned to you, and that is between you and Allah.

For a set period. It works to help others for the period you state below, and when the period ends it returns to you, in full.
