Ask for a loan

It takes about ten minutes. Then your request is saved.

Loans are not being paid out yet — but you can ask today

You can send your request today. It is saved, and we look at the facts you give. When loans start, this website will say so. We do not send personal messages about it.

1. About you

We need your full details here, because this money belongs to people who lent it as waqf, and Fotoh must be able to show them where it went. We never ask your religion, your ethnic background, your race, or your sexual orientation.

What we never ask for, and never charge: no Social Security number, no tax number, no photo of a document, no photo of you — and no subscription, no waiting time as a member, no need to have lent before, and no fee of any kind to ask.

Not a member? You do not need to be, and asking costs nothing. Leave this empty and go on.
Year, month and day. It is how two people of the same name are told apart.

2. Your loan

What you need, and how you will pay it back.

$500 to $50,000.

3. Your money situation

These are the facts we look at: your income, your work, and what you already pay each month.

4. Your word

We do not ask for any document, any photo, or any ID check here. If your request is approved, whoever moves the money checks who you are at that step, as the law requires there — not before, and not through this form.

How the site stays free. qardon.org is free for you. Lenders, borrowers, buyers, sellers and dealers pay the site nothing. To keep it running, its real running costs, multiplied by a set number that adds a profit, are paid from the profit of the waqfs placed through it. This is never taken from the waqf money itself, never added to any price, and never a percentage of a sale. It is a condition for using the site, not a choice. By opening an account you accept it; without accepting it, no account can be opened. If you place a waqf, this condition becomes one of your waqf’s conditions. The site does not manage anyone’s waqf. It is a tool in the hands of the person who manages it — or in your own hands, if you manage it yourself. Fotoh is not a charity, and it takes no part in your deals or in the profit of your business. Terms, §3a

If we say no, the reason is never about your character or your background — as the US fair-lending law (ECOA) requires.
